C&H Sugar
Packaging Design, Brand Identity
Packaging Design, Brand Identity
For those who challenge the ordinary, C&H Sugar reimagines baking for modern life. Each granule sparks passion, balancing elegance with boldness, alluring while weaving together a sense of community, and inviting everyone to discover the magic of baking.
What initially drew me to C&H was its rich history with Hawaii. Since the sugar is no longer produced there, the rebrand needed to shift away from that cultural influence and to embrace a more contemporary global image.

Brand Logo
The logo features the stylized initials "C&H" in a bold, flowing script, exuding passion and allure. The interwoven design emphasizes the connection between California and Hawaii, while the overall look conveys sophistication and dynamic energy.
The Concept
Duality is a key concept in the project. It’s not just about representing two places, california and hawaii, but also balancing tradition and modernity.
The two triangles on the packaging also represent duality. They're not just for the look—the two triangles on top make it easy to grip and pour, blending design with function.

The Look and Feel
I utilized digital rendering and 3D modeling to envision how the modernized C&H Sugar packaging, blending blue and pink hues with contemporary elements, would integrate into daily life, particularly in a kitchen setting.
Lifestyle Imagery
I also took on the role of art director, focusing on the social media photography style. I wanted the brand to feel bright, passionate, with a simple, sunlit lifestyle, just like the C&H I recreated.
